Bakhodir Jalolov is the gold medalist of the Olympic Games.

World champion, flag bearer of our delegation Bahodir Jalolov (+91) presented a worthy gift to the thirtieth anniversary of independence of Uzbekistan.
Our talented boxer Bahodir Jalolov advanced to the ring against the American Richard Torres in the final. In the competition, our boxer fought like a real leader. In the second round, he managed to knock down his opponent. Bahodir Jalolov, who also won the third round, won a gold medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

In Tokyo, the flag of Uzbekistan was raised and our anthem was played in honor of our victorious boxer.

It will be recalled that the boxers had previously met in the quarterfinals of the 2019 World Cup. At that time, Bahodir Jalolov knocked out Richard Torres.

On the way to the final, Bahodir Jalolov defeated Magomed Abdullaev of Azerbaijan, Satish Kumar of India and Fraser Clark of Great Britain.

Athletes from Uzbekistan took 31st place at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games with 3 gold and 2 bronze medals. This was the best performance in Central Asia.
